Obviously this may not work if the display is dead but, with ignition on or engine running, try the heater A/C panel reset and self test mode. Press 'off' and 'footwell' together for 2 seconds, release then immediately press 'auto' or 'on' (if you don't have auto). The test takes up to 30 seconds then displays any fault codes in sequence.
Hi guys, I have a 2008 mondeo and the heaters are not working.. So, I replaced the heater control module twice! and it works as soon as I turn the ignition on but when I turn it off back on again the screen on the controls goes off and if I disconnect the heater control module "via white and blac
Well obviously working on the idea you do have a heated screen. As I say, if Ford have used the convention that the ON LED is illuminated when the relay has pulled in, then its obviously not the relay (this needs confirming on a circuit/wiring diagram). In the unlikely event of both halves of the screen failing together, what is common.
There is only 1 dimmer module that supplies current to the panel lights. The left dimmer module supplies current via CKT 8 (GRY) to the following components: • The headlamp switch. • The heater and A/C control. • The shift select switch lamp. • The instrument cluster. • The steering wheel controls. • The reset switch.
