36 posts · Joined 2015. #4 · Feb 3, 2016. I was under the impression that the stock seat was able to be mounted in a lower set of mount holes. The lower position was 33.1" That is lower than my KLR. It measures at 34.0" I could tell that the AT was lower. I sat on 2 AT's at the Dallas MC show.
I came away thinking that, despite the CRF1000L moniker that connects the Africa Twin to the off-road-ready CRF250X and R, and CRF450X and R, the Africa Twin is more of a road bike than a dirt bike.
